PhDx has been recognized by The Flying 40 five years in a row. The Flying 40 is a selection of the top 40 revenue-generating technology companies in the state of New Mexico. The selection criteria are based on revenue and revenue growth. Last year’s Flying 40 companies had combined revenues of over $600 million dollars and employed more than 3500 people around the state. We offer excellent opportunities for personal growth. Initiative and leadership are encouraged and fostered; our employees find room to grow in a venture-backed company environment focused on sales growth. PhDx is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with an MSA population of over 729,000. The city is located at the base of the Sandia Mountains, the southernmost mountains of the Rocky Mountain chain. Residents enjoy a mild climate that spans four complete seasons - yes, we do ski here - with great outdoor activities, a wide variety of cultural events and a unique history.
We pride ourselves in being a part of the New Mexico technology community. Albuquerque was recognized in May 2006 by Forbes magazine as the single “best place for business and careers” we think we are part of that recognition. The magazine ranks metro areas based on nine criteria. Here's how Albuquerque fared in some categories:
- For cost of doing business, a figure comprising labor, energy, taxes and office space expenses, the city ranks at No. 1.
"Right now, your business costs are 24 percent below the national average," Forbes associate editor Kurt Badenhausen said;
- For income growth for the last five years: No. 30. Household income increased 19 percent in just the last two years, Badenhausen said;
- Educational attainment level, a measure of the per-capita number of advanced degrees: No. 54.
